Micromax Co-Founder, Rahul Sharma reveals that they are working on Windows and 4G based smartphones. The company doesn’t give much detail or the date of launch, we think it probably happens at the end of 2013.
“Since the 4G platform is not much accessible in India, the company has to wait until this ecosystem is well established”, said Rahul Sharma. Now the company is making the decision by studying the market, the reason would surely be the disappointing response of Canvas 4. This will be surely on the mind of the company during the next launch.
The company also revealed that they will launch 4G dongles for the users who doesn’t have 4G supported Smartphones / Tablets.
The Nokia was in the safe zone because of the use Android operating system by other Indian companies. If MMX launch Windows based 4G Smartphone under budget tag, it will surely pulls down the market graph of Nokia. Now for a WP8 Smartphone you have to give minimum Rs 7,999 (Nokia 510) but if it is available below Rs 5000. Which one you opt??
